t1 is the rockenist game ever. unfortunately everyone who plays has been playing for 3 years at least... so it will be a little hard to cope with their leetness

Compare tribes to how it is now, to how it was 2-3 years ago and try to say that again.

Tribes is not as fun as it was back then, true. But is it still fun? HELL YES. 5v5 is great fun and 10v10 is fun when we can get the people to play

if you're being honest, the skill level in the game now is about 1/3 higher than it was "back in the day"

OR he could start out on Tennessee Tribes server where time has stood still on skill levels. You will occasionally spot some guys running around with sensor jammer packs or a camera on their back there.

So I suggest to get up to speed with Tribes on a "real-time" basis, goto the Tennessee Tribes server and setup a "Sniper-Base" and ambush those APC's flying overhead.
