Petition To Bring Flag Hunter BACK!

Ok this is how i see it. Flag Hunter was an old type of game in tribes and not it suddenly vanished. I Want to get it back and have about 10-15 servers running it. It was so damn fun to fucking play lets get it back please.

HELL YEAH lets get Hunter BACK!! Anyways it was a good game and i loved to play it, but it made me mad when i lost all flags when i had a 100. That game was fustrating.!

10-15 servers? lol there arent even that many servers even being used for pubs

The key number here is 10. If there are 10 teams or more on the ladder, it is allowed. I don't see how we would get 10 ACTIVE teams on the ladder, however.

Ok Terra, but Flag Hunter was never on a ladder back in the day. Why do we need a ladder for it now it is free for all everyone for themselves. I Mean there is a team hunter, but the main hunter was FFA. We Dont need a ladder we just need servers

I was just telling you the teamwarfare admin perspective. Personally (as a player) I'd love to hop in a server now and then and play tr with bunch of friends.

I don't find a need for that many servers.. but it was fast paced fun game play and was extremely competitive. Competiveness is the heart of tribes sooo...

I would be happy with a server . There are never any Hunters servers up.

singed. i loved that shit. i cant think of how it will work for organized competition, but it would be great to have it in pubs again. just please get rid of that annoying "come get some" sound effect ever 5 fucking seconds and it will roxor my soxors

You wouldn't have a ladder so much as a scoreboard.

Here is how it would work...

ALternative I.

Play 4 fifteen minute maps and allocate points based on how you finish.

Alternative II.

You could also have progressive elimination where you play two maps to get the right to play the next 2. The 3rd map would eliminate all but 5-10 players who would then play the 4th map. You would get points for the number of maps you got to play and also for finishing in the top 3.

However its done would depend on the number of people on the TWL "scoreboard."
