Yes it is lame, but there isn't a friggin thing you can do about it.

Since game release November 28th, 1998. So it'll be 5 years this fall. That's sad

4: Should we up the explosive radius of the hand nade by 10% to make it more of a deadly weapon, or is it juse mianly used as a distraction.

I'm precise enough that 10% increase in radius would make no difference... I either completely miss or hit him right on.

5: Who has more skill when it boils down to it... HPBS or LPBS, controversial issue I know...

It's the same for both... you get used to either connection.. I played 2 years as both an HPB and LPB... aside from chaining, once I got used to the trigger delays, it was the same.

6: When was the last time any of us have had sex, since we are consumed by Tribes.

Before and after every match. In fact, it's the sex that led to me having to cut back on Tribes...

7: Approximately how long in a straight run have you played tribes (hours, days, weeks, MONTHS!?)

The longest I've played non-stop was 34 hours about 3 months after getting the game.

8: Should HPBS Be allowed to even the field in order to keep up with the lpbs who seem to be able to do everything 50x quicker then us.

9: Final question.... Should I use plasma or chaingun? Im a HPB remember!

Nope. I was his lil guinea pig on some of that stuff when Poop was actively scripting. He doesn't cross any lines. He worked diligently to make the game more enjoyable.

never played arena much. stuck to base.

I played from March 99 - Sept 02. I was fortunate enough quite a while back, to get some tips from =S3=Masochist before he quit tribes altogether. What I got from him I passed on to others. I could hold my own well 1 on 1 but one ladder was enough, so I didn't get involved in duel matches here.

I never used grenades much unless I was a HO on a suicide run. They work efficently as is I think.

I think being a LPB allows you the opportunity to show your skill more clearly and effectively than a HPB would have an opportunity to do. Although I should note in March 99 when I loaded tribes online for the first time, I was on a 28.8 external modem

I can gratefully say I am no longer consumed. My life on the other hand could use some work

several hours but that's it. I do have a full time job

Depends on where you at and where your opponent is. Generally, plasma (imo) is only useful in doors or within a confined space of some sort. Chaingun is good really anywhere as long as you're not too terribly far away from your opponent. I rarely carried plasma unless I was being a turret monkey.

Kirbz, you play arena correct? At least I think you do, um you dont suck... it's people who pretend to be somebody that sucks...

Oh ya I have another question to ask all of you.. mostly only applies if you were a HPB

THE LAST QUESTION IS:
Have you ever been accused of masking your ping... and I mean your ping is 200+, and then a lpb says that you mask your ping because you can whore or own them in a duel...

yep... usual quote.. "wow u probaly just maskin your ping to make you look good"

and.. i dunt get it cuz playing in 400 ping is easy if you get used to it like faken said... so... whats the deal?!
