Server

I was just wondering what you guys pay for your servers. I am only 16 so I dont have very much money, but I would really like to get my team a west coast server. I dont wanna get ripped off If I decide to get one! So if u guys dont mind telling me what u pay or what the average is or something it would be appreciated.

Most people don't pay for a server. They use the ones from their work and or school. Those usually have the fastest connections to the internet. Provided you have a fast connection and a decent computer, you can just make a server from your home. The people who do pay for a server, do tell as I've never paid for one myself.

ahh, k thx.

It depends on what type of line you want and what options you get on it. I currently have dual 100 mbit connections used for a number of things, but mainly gaming servers, and the bill runs me around $150. This is enough to run an upwards of 10-12 servers at 20 people each.

I did have to buy the machine tho...
